What is the Saver's Club?
With over $100.00 saved, students can open a Saver’s Club Certificate and earn higher dividends!
With a Saver’s Club account, students can make as many deposits as they like, but they cannot withdraw any money until its maturity (12 months from the date it was opened). The benefit is that they get a higher dividend rate (currently 2.05%) than the regular student savings account.
With a Saver’s Club, a student can learn to make short and long-term savings. That means when students make a deposit, they decide how much they want to go into their Saver’s Club (to earn a higher dividend rate) and how much they want to go into their student savings account (for money they need sooner).
To open a Saver’s Club, a parent/guardian fills out the form which can be downloaded here and returns it with the student's next deposit. Students must keep at least $1.00 in their student savings account (Suffix Q) and transfer at least $100 to the Saver’s Club (Suffix V).
